PPC Marketing

Time for a little role play: pretend you’re a coffee company. Not just your average joe coffee company, but a really, really good coffee company that recently began distributing product across the country. You want people to notice you, and though you think the Internet could be a great place for that, you don’t know how – or where – to start. Awesome pretend coffee company, PPC marketing is a great solution.

When you use search engines like Google or Bing to look something up online, you may notice listings at the top of the results page with a shaded background. These shaded listings are paid advertisements. Whenever an individual clicks one of these ads, the company it belongs to is charged a fee by the search engine (denoted by CPC, or cost per click). Google makes an astounding $100 million per day on these clicks alone.
